Qualifications:
Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while prioritizing multiple tasks and managing frequent interruptions DIRECT SUPERVISOR:
Building Principal CONTRACT DAYS & HOURS:
200 day contract.
183 days from late-August through early-June when teachers are in the building as dictated by the annual school calendar.
The other 17 days are during the summer on a schedule that is created in coordination with the building principal.
On contract days, building hours are typically 7:
00am - 3:
30pm.
PROFESSIONAL
Responsibilities:
Face of the school as the first point of contact for anyone calling or stopping by.
Find and coordinate substitutes when staff are absent from the classroom.
Help to monitor the building's secure entrance.
Admit guests and students who are arriving during the day.
Assist students and staff in person by answering questions in a positive and professional manner.
Work closely with the other offices in the building (Student Support, Attendance, and Middle School) to ensure the building runs effectively and efficiently.
Send and receive mail for the building.
Includes sorting mail and preparing building wide mailings such as report cards.
Primary point of contact for purchase orders and vouchers for the building.
Includes ordering building wide supplies.
Assist with confirming hours for hourly employees in the building Serve on Building Leadership Team Primary point of contact for all graduation related items.
Also serve on the graduation committee.
Set up and oversee student picture day as well as the student IDs that arrive afterwards.
Finalize and submit annual reports for the department of education on staffing, discipline, and other items.
Assign student lockers and assist them with locker issues.
Oversee end of the year checkouts for students and staff.
Assist with building wide announcements.
Occasionally responsible for making deposits for the building.
Coordinate onboarding of new staff with district office staff.
Help to ensure a safe and orderly school environment Assist building administration with other tasks as assigned.
